Between calligraphy, tradition and exploration, this exhibition organized by the art centers Spacejunk brings together two artists from the Lyon graffiti scene MonsieurS and Hetaone.
These two long-time friends and accomplices in creation for more than ten years, each explore in their own way the multiple facets of urban art, whose singular styles complement and respond to each other in a rich and captivating artistic dialogue.
Mr S, a true alchemist of techniques, draws inspiration from his travels, calligraphy and technology. With his mastery of tools such as aerosol, stencils, collage and laser cutting, he transcends the boundaries of traditional graffiti to offer immersive, precise, colorful works marked by a strong modernity.
Hetaone, is an artist who navigates between expressive lettering, photorealism and imaginary characters. Tireless traveller, he breathes life and humor into the walls that he adorns with monumental frescoes, while mixing graffiti traditions and technical innovations.
Together, these two artists offer a rich and contrasting vision of urban art: a dialogue between tradition and modernity, where the raw power of graffiti meets the precision of digital technologies, and where each work tells a story, between humor, poetry and reflection.

A little history of Mr. S’s technique in this exhibition:
Passionate about CNC technologies and machines, Monsieur S explores an innovative and unique technique combining abstract graffiti and laser cutting marquetry. Each work begins with a digital design where geometric shapes and typographies intermingle.
The elements are cut with surgical precision and then sprayed to create dynamic, luminous gradients. The result is a striking visual harmony where graffiti codes reinvent themselves, offering modern, vibrant and deeply structured compositions. An artistic immersion between raw energy and technical mastery.
